Terms of use
The service
BlurThat provides free tools that edit images entirely in your web browser. Because processing happens on your device, you keep possession of your images at all times — we never receive, store, or transmit them.
Acceptable use
Use the tools for anything lawful. Don't use them to break the law — for example, to falsify documents or evidence, or to harass people. You are responsible for the images you edit and what you do with the results.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is," free of charge, with no warranties of any kind. We work to keep them accurate and available, but we don't guarantee either. In particular: read the redaction guide before relying on any censoring method for sensitive material — pixelation and blur are not appropriate for text you truly need destroyed; the solid bar is.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlurThat is not liable for any damages arising from use of the tools. A free client-side utility is not a substitute for professional handling of genuinely sensitive material.

We may update these terms and the tools at any time; the version on this page is the version in force.
